The Border Collie’s Therapy Tales

Touching Hearts and Healing Souls

Nala’s Story

Nala, a 12-year-old Border Collie from Modesto, United States, had a life full of love and adventure. She was always happy and energetic, and her big brown eyes could brighten anyone’s day. Nala loved to run and play, but what she loved the most was making people smile.

In her early days, Nala’s owner noticed that whenever she was around sick or sad people, she would immediately cheer them up. Her ability to comfort others inspired her owner to train Nala to be a therapy dog.

The Therapy Dog

Nala started visiting hospitals, nursing homes, and schools. Everywhere she went, she touched the hearts of everyone she met. Patients and residents would brighten up as soon as they saw her coming. Children would giggle and play with her, forgetting all their worries.

Nala wasn’t a fan of other dogs at first, but she learned to socialize and became friends with other therapy dogs from different breeds. There was a Golden Retriever named Buddy, a Poodle named Lucy, and a Bulldog named Oscar. They all worked together, spreading love and joy wherever they went.

The Final Journey

As Nala grew older, she started to slow down. Her owner knew it was time to let her go, and so, they took Nala on her final journey to the Rainbow Bridge. Nala passed away peacefully, surrounded by love.

A Legacy of Love

Nala’s legacy lived on through the countless people and animals she touched. Her owner created a website to document her therapy tales, and it became a platform for others to share their Border Collie stories. From all over the world, people came together to celebrate the breed and their love for their dogs.

We may have lost Nala, but her spirit lives on, reminding us that love and kindness can heal the world. Rest in peace, sweet Nala.
